MacPhail’s events make the school a community gathering place for all who value quality music performances. As well as many performances by local and international professional musicians, there are numerous opportunities for students to perform at MacPhail. Over 300 recitals are scheduled each year, ranging from informal recitals to recitals for honor students selected by audition. Honors Recitals
Celebrate the talents of MacPhail’s finest student performers at an Honors Recital. Four recitals are scheduled to take place in the fall and spring semesters. Student performers are selected through competitive auditions. Formal invitations are mailed to a guest list of each student performer and a special reception is held after the recital to honor each student’s achievement. Audition applications are available at MacPhail’s Student Services Center.
