Tap into your creativity and spend eight weeks this fall writing songs alongside a community of fellow musicians. The Songwriting Workshop is designed for adult participants who want to explore the craft of songwriting in a supportive, collaborative environment.
Across eight sessions, participants will generate ideas, develop lyrics, and shape original songs—both individually and through co-writing. Guided by experienced faculty, you’ll explore melody, harmony, lyric writing, form, storytelling, and arrangement, while also learning how to collaborate, give and receive feedback, and refine your creative process. Sessions will include writing prompts, group collaboration, listening sessions, and workshop-style sharing.
Whether you’re brand new to songwriting, returning to it after time away, or already writing and looking for fresh inspiration, this immersive workshop offers a welcoming space to take creative risks, connect with other writers, and grow your voice as a songwriter.
The session culminates in an informal showcase where participants can share original music in a relaxed and supportive setting.
Bring your instrument, your ideas, and your curiosity—then join us for eight weeks of creativity, connection, and new music.
