Unwrapping the Orchestra – Austin: Violin Virtuoso, Mar. 15

Join Jacob Crosby as we unwrap some Orchestra Masterworks.

Since the Austin Symphony will be joined by world-famous violinist Rachel Barton Pine, we will examine Pyotr Tchaikovsky’s Violin Concerto, which is our collaborative selection for this concert.

In addition, we will examine more music by Samuel Coleridge-Taylor (Tarantella from Petite Suite 4), and Maurice Ravel (including Pavane for a Dead Princess).
