Christian Paulson

Christian Paulson is an Austin, Minnesota native where he began his lifelong musical journey with private drum lessons at Kopet Music. He holds a BA degree in Music Ed from Luther College, an MA in Educational Leadership and CSA (Superintendent’s Certification) in Educational Leadership from Iowa State. Christian was a band clinician and director in Iowa for 17 years before serving as a school principal in Iowa and Arizona for the next 14. Before moving back to Austin to be closer to family, he also taught orchestra for five years in Arizona. He performs with the Austin Symphony, Austin Big Band, Austin Community Band, and enjoys playing musicals around the area.
