Evren Werger

Evren Werger is a pianist and teacher who has performed globally on piano, organ, synthesizer, toy piano, and melodica. As a performer, Evren specializes in the music of living composers and has proudly commissioned and premiered close to 75 works in the past decade, including an album of contemporary solo piano music and a film score. As a teacher, Evren has an exuberant and creative teaching style that is holistic in approach and cognizant of their students’ lives and their many intersecting communities. Their mission is first and foremost to establish an excitement for music, and through that, to help their students develop discipline, self-worth, comfort in experimentation, and pride in all accomplishments, big and small.
