Piano instructor Guna Skujina has been at MacPhail since 1974, with more than 40 years of teaching experience. Teaching classical music to students ages 7 through adults, Guna has a thorough understanding of the principles of piano, teaching a well rounded curriculum that includes piano repertoire, sight reading, music theory and performance.
Guna performs with the Womenperformhers chamber group, as well as having performed extensively as an accompanist for concerts with the Latvian Concert Association of Minnesota, with “sfz” contemporary chamber ensemble and with the Schubert Club Metropolitan Artists series in a piano duo setting.
She holds a Master of Arts degree from the University of Minnesota.
