Jacob Burkhart

Jacob Burkhart is driven by making emotionally authentic music in every avenue possible. Whether it be as a trumpet player, improviser, educator, or composer/arranger, Jacob expresses his enthusiasm for music and life. Jacob has played with groups like Big Time Jazz Orchestra, Laura Velvet, Amateur, Arrowhead Choral, Northern Lights Music Festival Orchestra, Zenith City Sharps, Austin Big Band and Austin Symphony Orchestra. As an educator, heworks with groups of all sizes, genres, and skill levels. Jacob holds degrees in Jazz Studies and Education from the University of Minnesota Duluthand maintains a busy performance schedule all around the state.
