Robert Anderson has been teaching double bass at MacPhail since 1978.With more than 38 years of teaching experience, Robert encourages his students, in a positive way, to produce a good sound so that they enjoy playing the bass.
An active freelance musician, Robert has been a member of the Minnesota Orchestra since 1974. He is also a member of the board of directors of the Twin Cities Musician’s Union.
Robert holds a Bachelor of Music degree from Indiana University, and a Master of Music from Catholic University of America. Upon graduation he received a Fulbright Grant for Post-Graduate Study in Munich, Germany.
