MacPhail Story: Rylan Hefner

Reflecting on his 17 years as a MacPhail student, Rylan Hefner had this to say, “(MacPhail has)… always been a driving force behind my musical teaching and learning and everything I’ve done related to playing music and performing. It’s always been here… Such a wonderful place to come every week. It’s something I always look forward to.” 

Participating in piano lessons with Jeremy Hanson and violin lessons with Karen Moon, Rylan has built strong and personal relationships with both instructors during his time here.

He adds, “All of my teachers here have been like family.”
