Minneapolis Parking Card

Discount parking cards are available to use at the Portland Ave and 5th Ave/Depot parking lots.

• Pre-loaded cards must be purchased before entering the lots to be used that day.
• Cost: $50.00 ($25 pre-loaded value plus $25 refundable deposit for the card)
  • Card must be used upon entry to clock in and exit to clock out.
  • Card is charged upon exit for the time parked
  • Card automatically applies 25% MacPhail discount
• Cards are re-loaded through the onsite pay station ONLY.
  • Pay station located on the first level of the Portland Ave Ramp at The Depot Office Center.

• If the customer has concerns, questions, or issues with their card, they should contact the parking office at [email protected] or call 612-758-3203
• Cards are refundable if the customer will never use it again.
  • To cash out the parking card, customers should contact the parking office at [email protected] or call 612-758-3203 to schedule an appointment time to cash out the card.
  • The remaining balance on the card as well as the deposit are refunded.

Cards may be purchased at the MacPhail Minneapolis student services desk. You may also call student services at 612-321-0100 to purchase a card for pick-up. Parking cards must be picked up in-person at the student services desk before parking in the ramp. You may use the accessible drop-off parking on the east side of the building to pick-up your already purchased card.
