Placement Form
Learn (or re-learn) easy sight-reading, improvisation to accompany melodies and easy classical and popular songs. Build keyboard skills through note-reading, ear training, playing by ear, improvising, transposing and individual and ensemble playing. Plus, hang out at the keyboard with other adults – like you – who have decided it’s finally time to tickle those ivories.
Practice time and access to a piano or keyboard are necessary.
Students must purchase the following materials:

About Individual Lessons at MacPhail

Our outstanding faculty is equipped to teach beginning through advanced music lessons. At all levels, the music lessons are student-centered to develop personalized musical and technical skills.

How to Get Started

  1. Tell us about your musical interests, goals, and scheduling preferences by completing the Student Placement Form.
  2. When you’ve submitted the form, our placement team will find the ideal teacher for you, based on your requests.
  3. The placement team will reach out to you to introduce your teacher and arrange a regular time for your lessons.
