Make playing an instrument even more exciting and enjoyable by joining one of MacPhail’s chamber music groups! Students are placed into small ensembles based on age and playing level and assigned a MacPhail teacher to coach them on their music. Chamber Music placements can be made for almost all orchestra instruments and piano.

Groups are being formed now and can begin at any time throughout the semester.

HOW TO GET STARTED:

  1. Please record a video of one piece or a 3-minute segment of a piece and upload the video to YouTube as an unlisted video.
  2. Audition video links can be emailed to Chamber Music Coordinator, Jeremy Swider: [email protected].
  3. Please also fill out this Chamber Music placement form to share some details about your interests and availability.
  4. Jeremy will contact you to discuss the ensemble placement timeline and options.


Tuition: $35 per hour of ensemble coaching.

Music Plus Discount of 15% if you or anyone in your family is enrolled in Individual, Music Therapy or Suzuki instruction.

About Individual Lessons at MacPhail

How to Get Started

  1. Tell us about your musical interests, goals, and scheduling preferences by completing the Student Placement Form.
  2. When you’ve submitted the form, our placement team will find the ideal teacher for you, based on your requests.
  3. The placement team will reach out to you to introduce your teacher and arrange a regular time for your lessons.
