Unleash your creativity at our week-long Composition Camp, designed for young composers! This inspiring program offers students the opportunity to explore the art of music composition through hands-on writing sessions, individual mentoring, and collaborations.
Participants will learn essential skills in melody writing, harmony, orchestration, and contemporary techniques while bringing their musical ideas to life. Guided by experienced composers and musicians, students will workshop their pieces and hear them performed by live musicians. The week concludes with a showcase concert featuring original works composed during the camp. All levels of experience are welcome—join us to compose, create, and share your music!

About Individual Lessons at MacPhail
Our outstanding faculty is equipped to teach beginning through advanced music lessons. At all levels, the music lessons are student-centered to develop personalized musical and technical skills.

How to Get Started
- Tell us about your musical interests, goals, and scheduling preferences by completing the Student Placement Form.
- When you’ve submitted the form, our placement team will find the ideal teacher for you, based on your requests.
- The placement team will reach out to you to introduce your teacher and arrange a regular time for your lessons.
