Chamber Music

“Chamber Music combines the best elements of solo playing and ensemble playing at the same time.  Chamber music shares with solo playing the concept that your musical part is unique and essential – typically no one else is playing the same thing that you are.  However, unlike solo playing, you aren’t out there on stage all by yourself – you have a small team of other musicians with you – sometimes supporting your musical line with their music, sometimes taking the spotlight for a moment as you support them.  There is a sense of musical community being formed amongst the group’s members, both in performance and during the rehearsals and coaching process.”
