Jazz Camp: July 20-24

Per 30 minute lesson $48.00-$55.00
Dive into jazz at our week-long summer camp for high school students at MacPhail Center for Music! This exciting program offers an immersive experience for aspiring jazz musicians of all skill levels. Participants will engage in dynamic ensemble rehearsals, improvisation workshops, and masterclasses led by experienced Twin Cities jazz educators and performers.
Throughout the week, students will explore jazz theory, develop their improvisational voice, and collaborate with peers in a creative and supportive environment. Students will learn standard and modern jazz repertoire and will hone their improvisational skills led by prominent Twin Cities jazz musicians and educators.
The camp culminates in a live performance, showcasing the skills and artistry developed during the week. All instruments are welcome!

About Individual Lessons at MacPhail
Our outstanding faculty is equipped to teach beginning through advanced music lessons. At all levels, the music lessons are student-centered to develop personalized musical and technical skills.

How to Get Started
- Tell us about your musical interests, goals, and scheduling preferences by completing the Student Placement Form.
- When you’ve submitted the form, our placement team will find the ideal teacher for you, based on your requests.
- The placement team will reach out to you to introduce your teacher and arrange a regular time for your lessons.
