Summer is a great time to start your musical journey at MacPhail!
Our Introductory Lesson Package is designed for new students who are ready to explore music and begin lessons with guidance from our expert faculty. Whether you’re brand new, returning after time away, or interested in learning a new instrument or skill, this package is the perfect way to get started and experience what makes MacPhail unique.
You’ll receive four 30-minute private lessons with one of our outstanding teaching artists. Lessons are available for any instrument, voice, music production, songwriting, or other areas of study, and may take place at any MacPhail location or online.
After purchase, you’ll complete a short placement form so our team can match you with the teacher and schedule that best fits your goals. Our placement staff works closely with each new student to ensure a strong match and a positive lesson experience.
Package details:
- New students only (all ages and experience levels welcome)
- Four 30-minute private lessons
- Available for any instrument, voice, music production, or songwriting
- Offered at all MacPhail locations or online
- Lessons must be completed between June 8 – July 31
This package is the first step toward ongoing study at MacPhail. After completing the introductory lessons, students may choose to continue with additional summer lessons or register for the fall semester.

About Individual Lessons at MacPhail
Our outstanding faculty is equipped to teach beginning through advanced music lessons. At all levels, the music lessons are student-centered to develop personalized musical and technical skills.

How to Get Started
- Tell us about your musical interests, goals, and scheduling preferences by completing the Student Placement Form.
- When you’ve submitted the form, our placement team will find the ideal teacher for you, based on your requests.
- The placement team will reach out to you to introduce your teacher and arrange a regular time for your lessons.
